Yoga for Gardeners: Working the Soul made its debut at the Franklin County Master Gardener Symposium on March 11, 2006 in Deerfield, MA and appeared again as Green Yoga at the 2009 Upper Valley symposium. This workshop is designed to teach gardeners how to protect the body while maximizing both effectiveness and fulfillment in the garden.

Yoga for Gardeners will be offered again in 2010 at two Spring WMMGA symposia.  See the Western Mass Master Gardener Association Website to sign up for the March 20th Symposium in South Deerfield at Frontier Regional High School or the March 27th Symposium in Holyoke and William Dean Technical High School.

Over the course of the workshop, gardeners will have the chance to learn fundamental gardening principles and practice a warm-up sequence that will create body awareness and flexibility. Learn about the importance of staying grounded, measuring your 'Soul pH', and take your very own Chakra Garden Tour!

If your gardening club or any group with gardening interests would like to schedule a Yoga for Gardeners workshop, please contact me at the contact site on this website for more information.
