Current Class Schedule Grounded in Yoga is the perfect place for beginners to learn yoga basics. As long as you can get up and down off the floor you are ready to try gentle, restorative, legs-up-the-wall yoga postures. Treat your body to relaxation, stretching and meditation exercises designed to quiet the mind and heal the body. If you are recovering from injury or illness and feel that you are not able to get down on the floor, chair yoga is for you. Get the same grounding in yoga, learn postures and breathing exercises, and relax from the comfort of your chair. See below for times and fees. New or private classes can be arranged to accommodate your schedule. Group rates are available with a minimum of four students. So get your friends together and get started soon. |

-What is Restorative Yoga?- Restorative yoga has been called the yoga of "undoing." This type of practice relies heavily on props (pillows, blankets, straps, walls, floor, etc.) to allow for a comfortable yoga experience ideal for beginning practitioners. You will be introduced to the benefits of "legs up the wall" yoga in which you can safely stretch and do many traditional yoga postures while totally supporting your back.
